Return of an empty 1973 to Stag's Leap.

(See a full one in the Smythsonian)

Warren Winiarski - whose 1973 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon won in the red wine category of the celebrated 1976 Paris tasting, beating heavyweight French wines that included some of the best Bordeaux first growths - receives back from Nadine an empty bottle of 1973 Stag's Leap cabernet sauvignion.

A replica, cast in bronze, is of an actual empty 1973 which required a microwave process to remove its label intact. It's cork was removed before we got to this bottle, some time in 1996. (The empty was provided under condition of anonimity.)
